What is a STEM Ambassador?
STEM Ambassadors are volunteers from a wide range of backgrounds, from apprentices and students to experienced professionals, who work in or study science, technology, engineering or maths. They give their time to support and inspire young people, using real-life experiences to show how STEM skills are used in the world around us.
Ambassadors engage with schools, community groups and youth organisations by running hands-on activities and workshops, sharing their career journeys and life stories, and helping to bring STEM learning to life beyond the classroom.
